Laura Rathburn, regional manager, oversees the service delivery, training, and development of project managers located in the Southside region, including Lynchburg, Danville, and Roanoke. She also serves as VPMEP's statewide practice manager for their Organizational & Cultural Development services. Laura brings over 25 years of manufacturing experience allowing her to consult in the areas of lean enterprise, people systems, and project management. Prior to joining VPMEP, she was a manufacturing manager at American LaFrance Division of Freightliner LLC. As manufacturing manager, she was responsible for the start-up and operation of a green field facility. Other industrial positions include shift plant superintendent, staff industrial engineer, and industrial engineering manager. Laura holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
